Thank you for your interest in working with us. Applications to join our 2018-2019 team are now closed.

However, The Meducator is always looking for new, talented students to join our team and play an active role in editing and designing our journal. If you interested in learning and developing skills in scientific literacy and writing, our new MeduCollab initiative will always be accepting passionate candidates.

New This Year: MeduCollab

MeduCollab, our brand-new initiative, is a mentorship forum that pairs student authors with Meducator staff to create high-quality publications, artworks, and videos relevant to the health sciences. With skills development and knowledge exchange as the primary goals, students will learn about the scientific publication process through a combination of workshops and practical experience. If you have a great idea to bring to life or just want to collaborate, please fill out the following application form:

Please download the application as a Microsoft Word file and send completed applications to the.meducator@gmail.com. Applicants of all levels of previous experience and years of study will be considered equally; we are looking for people who love to collaborate and share our passion for the health sciences!

Successful applicants will be invited for an in-person interview conducted by team executives, after which final staff selection decisions will be made.

The Meducator is McMaster University’s undergraduate Health Sciences Journal. It publishes pieces that critically address current issues with a high degree of scientific rigor, but in a way that is accessible to a broad audience.
