Our Newest Initiative: MeduCollab

MeduCollab, our newest outreach initiative, is a mentorship program that pairs students interested in either academic writing or digital arts with Meducator staff to create high-quality publications, artworks, and videos relevant to the health sciences. With collaboration and skill development as the primary goals, students will partake in various seminars, workshops, and guest speaker presentations. At the end of each semester, mentees will have the opportunity to showcase their work through publishing on our website and/or other external means (e.g. an art exhibition).

The response to our MeduCollab program has exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, this means that we currently do not have enough mentors to support all of the mentees who have shown interest. The MeduCollab program will be accepting students on a rolling basis of who signed up first while we aim to recruit more mentors.

In the meantime, please apply to our other staff teams, which we’ve extended the application deadlines for. We would love to highlight the talents of our prospective mentees through the Editorial, Graphics & Design, and Videography teams.

If you would still like to sign up for the MeduCollab program, please fill out the following application by Monday, Sept 16th:

Please note that time commitment is tentatively 1 hour/week for meetings plus additional time for working on projects.
